SPEAKER: Kate Sylvia “Cell Phone Photography”

Jan 17, 2022
Zoom

We happily welcome back Kate Silvia on Monday and this is what she says:  “This presentation will introduce you to the art of using an iPhone or other mobile device for photography. I will discuss different methods of image capture, as well as provide advice on tools and “extras” to help with your mobile phone photography. I will discuss and demonstrate a wide variety of editing apps, from the basic to the extreme. After discussing many apps and tools, we’ll get into Lightroom Mobile and how to incorporate it into your workflow for easy organization, editing, and sharing. I started using Lightroom mobile about 6 months ago (a bit late to the game…oh well) and have found it invaluable in my mobile photography workflow. I should have jumped on that bandwagon much sooner. I will also discuss a bit about video capture…but not in-depth.

Here are most of the apps I’ll demo. You do not need to download these unless you would like to follow along. Since this is being done via Zoom and will be recorded, you may just want to watch and try the apps later. Whichever is more helpful to you. Some of these apps cost money and you may not use them at all so don’t buy stuff before seeing them in action. I will demo other apps as well…but haven’t decided which ones at this point. The app demo will be recorded in the interest of time.
