Increasing Your Creative Vision
Les Saucier, a KIPC favorite, returns, via Zoom! For nearly forty years, Les has been teaching photography workshops in the Adirondack Mountains, the Oregon Coast, Zion National Park, and the Great Smoky and Blue Ridge mountains. Currently, Les, and his wife, Janet, specialize in photography workshops (and one-on-one Zoom sessions) that help clients grow as visual artists, and gain skills that can “translate their unique way of seeing the world into images that have heart, express heart, and connect with a viewer’s heart.”
In this presentation, Les will discuss and demonstrate three ways to improve photographic creativity: using your creative vision to select the subject, capturing the subject utilizing your camera skills, and emphasizing your vision with your post-processing skills.
Virtual Photo Shoot: Les will give an assignment that will result in two photos: one image that “celebrates the beauty” you are seeing, and one that you like, but that you feel is “missing something”. As Les notes: “It feels great to show your friends your “hero” shots, but you will learn more from a critique of your lesser images.”
On March 1st, Les will review and critique the images of those who have chosen to participate in this assignment.
Details on signing up for this virtual photoshoot to follow soon!
