VIRTUAL SHOOT

You can do your shooting any time, any place.

If you are on Kiawah, You can take advantage of the Shoot at the Goatery:

Thursday, April 20th: 10:30am, Photo Shoot for all KIPC members, just four miles from Freshfields, at The Goatery at Kiawah River (3883 Betsy Kerrison Pkwy, Johns Island). The baby goats have been born and we will have the opportunity to photograph them, along with the Belted Galloway cows and other farm animals, and some of the flowers and vegetables growing in the nearby farm fields.  No need to sign up. Just show up.

Assignment: The “expansive mindset” is all about seeing opportunities instead of limitations. This includes being open to working with all different kinds of light, seeing potential in a diverse range of subjects, leaving expectations at home, and observing deeply as a way of connecting with the landscape. For this assignment, make time for a photo session but do not set any goals or expectations. Instead, be open to what the landscape presents at the time of your visit and look for opportunities without judgment. Explore, try new things, be curious, and experiment.

All are encouraged to try the shoot and attend the critique. 20 members will have their work reviewed by Sarah. The $10 cost helps defray expenses. This is an opportunity for all skill levels to get helpful feedback.

TO SIGN UP, EMAIL GORDON BELL ATGRB7649@YAHOO.COM and put Sarah Marino in the subject Gordon will confirm your place and provide details including how to pay.

Critique Monday, April 24, 10am-noon
