Our guest this month is Chris Smith of Chris & Cami Photography.  He has been a professional photographer for over 25 years, covering everything from weddings, portraits, sports, events, headshots, travel, nature, and wildlife.  His subjects include companies like Comcast & Toyota, sports stars like Tiger Woods & Maria Sharapova, and celebrities like Darius Rutger & George H. W. Bush.  He’s no stranger to Kiawah, photographing family portraits, surprise proposals, the PGA Championships, the Earl Klugh Weekend of Jazz, and many other events on the island.  Chris will be sharing with us a program titled “Wildlife Around the World”, featuring inspirational images, tons of tips, and insights on the techniques he uses to capture birds in flight and other elusive animals in the wild.

PHOTOSHOOT

We have a private day scheduled at Birds of Prey (BOP) on Wednesday, November 10th from 9:30 to 12:30 with Chris leading the shoot. He has worked with BOP for many years. Limited capacity – 10 people (currently full). Cost: $115 per person ($65 to BOP and $50 to Chris).

The shoot includes a behind-the-scenes tour of the Avian Medical Clinic and SC Oiled Bird Treatment Facility (Covid permitting, mask required for this portion)
